In December of 2010, I had the honor of unveiling a tribute portrait of Diane Kaneb of Weston, Mass. The ceremony was attended by more than 200 guests and took place in the Ballroom at the Liberty Hotel in Boston.

Diane served on the Board of Directors for Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary for the past 25 years. She was also the first woman to serve as Board Chair. Diane is well known for her philanthropy and played a key role in the campaign which raised more than 50 million dollars for the hospital.
Diane and I worked together during the summer and fall of 2010 to create a portrait that would be on permanent display in the boardroom at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. My goal was the creation of a portrait that would express the warmth, generosity and elegance of this remarkable woman. It was a deeply gratifying experience for me and thankfully for Diane as well.
