Portrait Drawing Workshop

In this four week workshop, students will learn a classical approach to portrait drawing.

We will work from a live model for four consecutive five hour classes. This thorough approach will allow students to pursue the challenging goal of creating a true likeness. The fundamentals of proportion, planar construction and the modeling of form will be stressed. The precise use of charcoal and/ or graphite will also be covered.

The class will take place in my studio with a maximum of five students. This approach is suitable for beginners as well as advanced artists. To sign up, please contact us.
